Are You “Safe” in The Company You Keep?

The curse of the codependent is a big heart. We give love so often and completely that we blind ourselves to the fact that it’s not being reciprocated. Of course there are the people who will take advantage, too, but I’m going to take those manipulating narcissists out of the spot light here to focus on those around you who think they are supporting you, and who you think care for you unconditionally, when they don’t.
