The social psychology of propaganda is always fascinating to me. I think this is why WWII, especially Germany and the Nazis, but also the Japanese, continues to draw my attention. It's also why I'm so curious as to what's going to happen in this country with the election. Being fascinated and curious helps my heart from the constant feeling of fear that I have around all this. Being fascinated and curious helps alleviate the emotions about something I have no control over.

Because the long term effect of what's happening now could be good, as we as a species learn once and for all how lies disintegrate society and ultimately cause nothing but destruction, and take measures to never allow them, or it could mean all our horrifying, post-apocalyptic stories and movies depicting severe dystopian societies are not just fantasy, but actually a reality within us waiting to be actualized.

As I pray for the former, I can't help but...fight fear with curiosity as I do what I personally can to avoid the latter from ever becoming reality.
